A short Introduction into the BRX terminolgoy

BRK / BRX

A single AI operation. BRK is the singular, BRX is the plural version.

Pronounced “brick” and “bricks”

Public BRK

A public BRK has been shared with the BRX community. Any BRK user can view and clone public BRKs. Public BRKs are viewable and searchable in the community repository.

Private BRK

A private BRK is a BRK that has not been made public. New BRKs default to private.

BRK ID

The unique identifier for a BRK. BRK IDs are also used as the slug in the URL for a BRK.


Collaborator

Another user you have shared your BRK with. An umbrella term that includes users with all access levels - owner, editor, and viewer.

Owner

The owner of the BRK is generally the original creator of the BRK. Each BRK can only have 1 owner. The owner’s account is billed when the BRK is run.

Editor

A BRK can have many editors. An editor has access to make changes to the underlying BRK, clone the BRK, and run the BRK. Editors can add additional collaborators.

Viewer

A BRK can have many viewers. Viewers cannot make changes to the underlying BRK engineering. Viewers can clone the BRK and run the BRK. Viewers cannot add additional collaborators.


Build

The build process is similar to a compile. This must be done before a user runs a new BRK, and any changes must be built again in order to run.

BRK Builder

This is the tool used to build new BRKs. This tool is also used when making edits.


Run

Running a BRK will execute the underlying AI operation.


Repository

The home directory for where BRKs live

BRX Repository

This term is used to refer to your private repository - this includes all BRKs you have created, as well as BRKs that have been shared with you.

Community Repository

This refers to the home for public BRX. This is viewable by every BRX user, and includes all public BRX.
